Denver – Metropolitan State University of Denver freshman forward Reigna Banks (Bakersfield, Calif./Bakersfield H.S.) was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year on Tuesday afternoon.

Banks leads the Roadrunners with five goals on the year and is tied for eighth in the conference. Two of her goals have been game winning. Banks has also tallied three assists this season. She is the only Roadrunner to appear on the all-RMAC first team.

Reigna played in the South Valley Thunder competitive soccer club for coach Jason Carter’s G97 team!
